(Spoiler alert!)
David Martin was running....away from a murderer....away from himself. His heart was beating fast and so did mine. He was breathless... as I held my own breath.
What will happen next? The suspense kept me from leaving my seat....as the story unfolds before my eyes.
The book's hero...my hero...was in between worlds...of reality and madness. What price to pay....success in exchange for your soul!
Somehow, Mr. Martin was able to save himself. Or so I thought...finally, the ending....again, he finds himself in a moment of ambivalence....in between good and evil. That was it....is it suppose to make me think? feel? realize?
The story continues....in my mind.
Bravo! One of the best books I've ever read!
